Trimont was founded in the mid 1980’s, where it was located in South East London.
Three years ago Trimont was moved to Derby, where Nicola Parle started to work for the company. Nicola studied at Wolverhampton University and gained a degree in Interior Textiles, specialising in Passementerie.
Leaving university In 1998 Nicola joined Heritage Trimmings Ltd, where she gained more knowledge in trimmings design, how to manufacture them, and she learnt the specialism of bespoke trimmings.
In December 2009 the opportunity came along for her to take over Trimont, which she felt was an exciting move into running her own business, and has fresh ideas for new collections going forwards.
